The Community Outreach Clinic is an initiative created to bring accessible and affordable therapy services to the Houston community. Through this program, Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates (LPC-Associates) provide reduced-fee counseling while working under the direct clinical supervision of Dr. Noel C. Gonzalez, PhD, LPC-S.

As a licensed supervisor with over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Gonzalez provides ongoing oversight, case consultation, and structured clinical guidance to each associate. Who Provides Services?
Services are provided by Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates (LPC-Associates) who have completed a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy, including extensive supervised clinical training. They are licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and authorized to provide psychotherapy in Texas under clinical supervision as they work toward full independent licensure.
Each LPC-Associate receives structured, ongoing weekly supervision with Dr. Noel C. Gonzalez, PhD, LPC-S, who serves as Training Director and Clinical Supervisor. Supervision includes case consultation, treatment-planning guidance, and professional development to ensure services are delivered with clinical integrity and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Patients of the Community Outreach Clinic benefit from a collaborative care model — receiving dedicated therapeutic attention from their clinician while also being supported by experienced supervisory oversight. All services are conducted in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards.
Appointments and Availability
The Community Outreach Clinic offers appointments Monday through Friday, with select Saturday availability based on clinician schedules.
